Über uns Kuwait Airways

As the national carrier of Kuwait, the aim of Kuwait Airways is to reach more than 46 countries across the globe and also to provide excellent service and comfort to its travelers. Kuwait Airways was established in 1954, with its hub being in Kuwait International Airport in Al Farwaniyah Governorate. Kuwait Airways is well known for its competitive and unique services, great deals, and cheap flights for the passengers, for which it earned the certificate of the American Federal Control Board for fulfilling the safety conditions. It was awarded the Best Airline for Air Safety by International Aviation Safety Assessment (IASA) in 2000. Kuwait Airways has acquired seven awards for Onboard Service, Comfort of the Passenger, Onboard Entertainment, Onboard Safety and Security and Onboard Menus and the Menu Service at Onboard Services Awards Magazine in USA in January 2003.

Carry-on Baggage

For Economy Class, the passenger is allowed to bring on board one piece of baggage with maximum weight of 7 kg in addition to one small laptop bag to be placed under the seat.

For First and Business Classes, the passenger is allowed to bring onboard one piece of baggage with maximum weight of 11 kg along with one small laptop bag.

Checked Baggage

For Economy Class, the baggage allowance is two items of baggage with a maximum combined weight of 23 kg, not exceeding the following dimensions: 90 × 65 × 75.

For Business and First Classes, the baggage allowance is two items of baggage with a maximum combined weight of 32 kg, not exceeding the following dimensions: 90 × 65 × 75.

For Royal Class, the baggage allowance is three items of baggage with a maximum combined weight of 32 kg, not exceeding the following dimensions: 90 × 65 × 75.

Regarding infant baggage, for all classes, the free allowance is one piece of baggage which must not exceed 115 in dimensions.
