About Air India
Air India is not just a flag carrier of India, but rather it is owned by Air India Limited, which is a government-owned enterprise. Air India serves more than 120 destinations in 27 countries around the globe via a fleet of more than 71 aircraft supplied with up-to-date technology. As Air India was established in 1932, it commenced its operations in 1946.
As the third largest domestic airline in India according to the number of passengers carried, Air India aims to be the last haven for travelers worldwide with its distinctive fares and services of high quality.
Air India has many focal cities throughout India; however, the main hub that it operates its services through is Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.
Being a member of the SkyTeam Alliance gives it a more competitive edge over its rivals for the broader network of destinations it has. Moreover, Air India operates two subsidiaries that enhanced its services and caused its market share jump into 13.5 % as of July 2017.
Air India online booking is available now through asfartrip, the platform as well as search engine that enables the visitors to search for flights of the cheapest prices, therefore, sort and filter the results to finally find the most convenient fare, and, consequently, reserve their cheap tickets.
